The PSA Teaching and Learning Network is pleased to announce a series of Statistics Drop-In sessions.

Through these sessions, we want to create an open and collaborative forum through which we can talk about the challenges of teaching statistics and methods and gain much needed help from colleagues who have experienced similar issues.

These sessions will run fortnightly starting on Wednesday 28th September from 1pm to 2:30pm. Please do feel free to grab some lunch and a coffee to have during the sessions.  The content of these sessions will be guided by the problems that are facing us as teachers. If you have a question you’d like to discuss please do email it to psateach@psa.ac.uk the Monday before the session is due to take place. While we cannot guarantee we will be able to make our way through all questions, we hope to be able to cover a number of useful topics and open up new ideas about how to teach methods and statistics more effectively.

These sessions will not be recorded, but a blog post that covers the main problems raised and some of the solutions and resources that have been suggested as helpful in overcoming challenges will accompany each coffee morning.
