APG-LSE Phelan US Centre ECR Conference: A New Era in America?
The American Politics Specialist Group are delighted to invite papers for the upcoming American Politics Group-LSE Phelan US Centre Early Career Researcher Conference, to be held on 13 June 2025 at LSE Phelan US Centre. Papers should respond to the theme: A New Era in America? All thematic and subject areas focused on the United States are welcome, with a particular focus on contemporary America in the Trump era.

To submit a paper proposal, please submit a document including your name, career level/educational status, paper title and an abstract of no more than 200 words by 13 May 2025.
The American Politics SG are also offering 16 ECR travel grants of £50 to paper presenters. To apply for a travel grant, indicate this on your paper proposal, include a short personal statement of why you are applying for the grant and a budget of how you would use the grant to access the conference.
To submit your proposal, email your proposal with the subject title ‘Paper proposal APG-LSE Conference to Josephine Harmon at harmonacademic@gmail.com and j.harmon@qmul.ac.uk. Please signpost whether you are applying for the ECR travel grants. Direct any questions to the same email address.
