Congratulations to PSA member and former trustee, Professor Indrajit Roy from the University of York, for his recent re-election to the Executive Committee of the International Political Science Association (IPSA) - where he will represent the PSA (as the recognised national association for the UK).

Indrajit will be chairing the Committee on Academic Freedom as part of his role.

"I am delighted to continue representing the PSA at IPSA and serve on its Executive Committee. Our discipline faces profound and overlapping challenges across the world and I will do my best to address these challenges alongside my stellar colleagues at IPSA, the national political studies associations and other learned societies."

PSA Vice Chair, Professor John Craig, commented: "We wish Indrajit every success in this role and thank him for his continued commitment to both the PSA and IPSA. It is vital that all political studies associations collaborate to ensure that our discipline continues to thrive. I am sure that through Indrajit's efforts, we will see our partnership with IPSA strengthen in the years to come."
